We, the Nordic Trailblazers team, challenge you to join our tours that were tailored specially for those people who want to experience the premium quality learning and walking excursions. Our team consists of professional licensed guides, historians and archaeologists who know every crook and cranny of the former Polish capital. Our goal is to make every person, who sets his foot in Krakow, fall in love with this city.

Our walking and educational tours:

Day 1: Old Town & Swawel Castle (half a day walk)

Day 2: Jewish Quarter (Kazimierz) (half a day walk) Day 1 & 2 can be combined to a day tour.

Day 3: Auschwitz – Birkenau Concentration Camp (7 hours private guided tour)

Auschwitz-Birkenau – German Nazi concentration and extermination camp was built by Germans in the mid 1940 on the site of military barracks in Oświęcim. The camp is now a memorial of the dark pages of the World War II history. UNESCO added the camp to its list of World Heritage Sites in 1979.

The exact number of victims is at Auschwitz is difficult to fix due to the fact that much of the evidence was destroyed by the SS. It is estimated that approximately 1.5 million people of 28 nationalities were murdered here, of whom 90% were Jewish.

Day 4: Wieliczka Salt Mine

Visit the Wieliczka Salt Mine on this excursion from Krakow and discover a one-of-a-kind underground world that was created hundreds of years ago. Take an unforgettable guided walk along the 3-kilometer-long tourist route 135 meters under the ground.

Day 5: Zakopane in gorgeous Tatra Mountains – Guided Hike

For this tour one should reserve one single day. Early in the morning we drive to Zakopane located at the feet of the Tatra Mountains, experience the local culture, regional food and traditional Polish countryside. Be prepared for spectacular views, unexpected encounters with bears and highlanders’ tea.

Day 6: Ojców National Park – Guided hike (day tour)

Explore with us the Ojców National Park – one of the most beautiful valleys located 20 km from Krakow. Walk along the Jurassic rocks, explore the caves, visit the ruins of the medieval castles and see the chapel located on the water! All of this within 6 hours with comfy transport arrangements and tasty food options.
