She is known for the ability to plan and coordinate changes/projects and turnarounds with a keen eye for innovation and sustainability. Kristin is able to strategise and prioritise effectively. She is a skilled communicator with great cultural sensitivity.

Kristin is on a quest to inspire and empower people to release the value of principle-based and gender-balanced participation and leadership. She has passionately pursued this purpose as a leader in the hospital & healthcare industry, as well as within her own companies. As a leader in the hospital & healthcare industry in Iceland her department, successfully survived Iceland’s infamous economic meltdown by implementing effect measuring and estimating the benefits of all rehabilitation programmes in relation to the outcome and thereby becoming the one department going from deficit to profit.
An entrepreneur at heart, Kristin founded Humanity For Good, Ireland Iceland Travel and Nordic Trailblazers.
In her work of research, Kristin has focused on empowering women and girls as well as empowering young adolescents through art and culture experiences. She holds extensive expertise in how to create a culture of well-being that drives business growth.

Kristin has an MPH in the field of Public Health, and an M.Phil in Race, Ethnicity and Conflict and International Peace studies from Trinity College Dublin and a degree in Occupational Therapy. She has lived and worked in Iceland, Ireland, Sweden and Denmark, where she now resides and runs NT from. Her work has led her to Mongolia, Japan and Latvia where she has delivered keynotes and participated in dialogues about leadership and change for the Healthcare industry and participated in conferences around the world.

Education improves health because it increases effective agency, enhancing a sense of personal control that encourages and enables a healthy lifestyle.

Hrefna is an Educational Developer and a Public Health Expert, Hrefna has extensive experience as a data specialist and a public health researcher from her work with The Icelandic Centre for Social Resesarch and Analysis (ICSRA). ICSRA has conducted a national Youth in Iceland program of surveys among 10-20 year old children and adolescents, consisting of extensive data collection and information dissemination concerning family and adolescent welfare
Her research interests include; Education, gender difference, public health and “dropouts” from school.

Hrefna holds a B.ed in Education, with Icelandic as major and an MPH in Public Health.
